Cut-Off Date for Plating Used Vehicles

Any RAW Applicant planning to use a vehicle imported under a transitional approval as their sample vehicle for RAW Approval, should note an application MUST be lodged by a RAW before the end of the transition period (ie 7 May 2003). Only workshops with a RAW Approval may apply to plate vehicles.

If your RAW Approval has not been issued or you have not submitted an application to plate your first vehicle by end of 7 May 2003, the vehicle must be plated under the previous low volume arrangements by end of 7 May 2003. You would then need to import another vehicle to use as a sample vehicle for your RAW approval.
